Amanda Rothwell qualified as a Traditional Acupuncturist in 2007, following 4 years degree level study at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, graduating with a Licenciate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac) and BSc (Hons) Acupuncture from Kingston University. Her 10 year career in Chinese Medicine is complemented by 18 years experience as a registered General Nurse, following training and graduation from St George’s Hospital and King’s College, London, BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies in 1994. Amanda no longer practices as a nurse as Acupuncture Practice now occupies all of her working life.
Amanda is a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and is thereby bound by professional regulatory codes. She is a Regional Co-ordinator for British Acupuncture Council Members in Somerset, facilitating regular Continuing Professional Development whilst also attending regular professional and personal supervision in her continuing development as a deeply committed and perceptive health practitioner ( For further information regarding Amanda’s CPD- see her CV).
For the past 6 years Amanda has worked within The Arrigo Programme (www.the arrigoprogramme.com) as a lead Acupuncture Practitioner for clients retreating here in Somerset.
